Double Barrel Game Farm & Hatchery has been in the game bird business since 2000. Owner, Dustin Chrisman grew up on the family farm and cattle operation near McCool Junction. As a freshman in high school, Dustin Chrisman started his Double Barrel venture to supplement his cow herd and other projects. He was named the Star Farmer in Production at the state FFA convention for his efforts. Dustin graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Diversified Agriculture and a minor in Animal Science. Along with the game bird operations, Dustin also manages a heifer development and AI program in which he supplies bred heifers to ranches each year. In addition, he has a tree moving business. Dustin and Paige Chrisman have three children – Arianna, Ryah, and Tripp – who all love to help dad with the birds and cattle any chance they can.
